The luxury of no electricity contributes to the typical atmosphere on Le Pas de Ceilhes. Especially at night, the light of the moon and the stars ensures that the area is lighted in a natural way. There is a public telephone box at the farm. On some spots it is possible to receive calls with your cell phone. But if you wish to use a satellite tv or a chemical toilet, you must be elsewhere. Simplicity is the charm of Le Pas de Ceilhes. For laundry washing there are tubs, old-fashioned wringers and clothes-lines. The rudimentary sanitairy blocks are kept clean by the campers themselves. If the sun is shining: take a hot shower. If there is no sun you can use preheated water for a short shower from a geyser or a boiler, there are butane gas bottles, don’t spoil the common resources.

Close to the entry of the camp-site there is an ancient farm building. In the evening and in case of bad weather the ‘salle de jeunes’ is the central meeting point for campers. Here music evenings are kept, organized by the guests themselves, so take your music instrument with you). After sunset the fireplace burns here. Please replenish the fire wood stock. On the ‘Presbyterre’, a small meadow bordered by an old brick wall beside the farm, there are often outdoor activities, organized by the campers. Here you can make music, drink or eat or exchange camping experiences. The swimming pool is unguarded. Unfortunately the new children’s pool is not yet ready. But there is a simple play ground. For others there is a jeu the boules field, a book cupboard and there are various board games. In the ‘salle the jeunes’ you can play table tennis or shuffleboard.
